k. guys. i seriously love being a mormon. a lot. it has become so much more than a religion to me: it's a lifestyle. it defines the way i act, i dress, and i speak. it has made me into a better person: one who is more willing to help others, be more respectful, and be more like my Savior, Jesus Christ. though i'm not perfect, this church helps provide a way for me to overcome my imperfections. it's blessed my life in more ways than i'm sure i even know. in fact, i don't just receive blessings, they flood me. being a mormon doesn't guarantee that my life is easier, it just means that i have more tools to make it a little smoother. one of these is my scriptures....and holy cow i love them. i have read them every day (except for one!) in the past....oh, 6 years. they are dirty, ripped, missing pages, and marked like none other but the content is still my biggest guide and comforter in my life. they connect me to my Savior, who loves and cares for not only me but every every every every every single person on this earth. all of us. he knows all of us divinely and perfectly. and though he sees our mistakes, he looks past that and sees the potential that we all have. i love him. and he loves me. and he is the only way to happiness. if you feel a void in your life, it's because you haven't turned to Him or have but haven't kept the connection firm. He wants us all to turn to Him. He's waiting for us.
